I am a qualified accountant and can provide general accounting and taxation advice and/or assistance with accounting related matters.  I have experience in both chartered firms dealing anywhere from individuals up to large companies as well as working in the commercial environment as a finance manager. 

 

I obtained a UAI of 94.25 and completed a double degree in business and commerce and Macquarie University in 2004 specialising Accounting. I've also completed the Chartered Accountants program and are also a Justice of the Peace.  As part of my on-going development I regularly attend updates on accounting and taxation issues.

 

I am not a qualified teacher as such, but can help you focus on the concepts and assist you in exam technique to help you get through those tough exams.  Areas of tuition include introductory accounting, taxation, management accounting, auditing and includes up to masters level. 

 

Not only do I help University students, but also professional people in business who need help understanding profit and loss statements, ratios and analysing the health of their businesses or departments.  I offer a very clear, practical approach to understanding financial concepts.  This can be particularly useful to professionals from non-financial backgrounds.

I tutor all levels from beginner to masters level in financial / management accounting, consolidations audit, taxation. My vast experience in both the accounting profession and commercial environment will give students a lot of practical insight and you'll hopefully gain an appreciation and walk away feeling a lot more confident. This is my opportunity to give something back to students and an opportunity for students to get one-on-one coaching with a real accountant.
